Share some things you love most about being married

Since I know this is the one question you must not have stopped hearing...how does it feel, how does it feel, or what is it like etc etc

I feel as sense of closeness like no other. I feel like I am responsible for someone else other than myself. The committment seems deeper. I feel so much more love in the air. I hope these feelings never change. There is a sense of comfort I now feel that I never had before. It feels good to know he is now all mine and the world knows and respect that. I can now say my husband when the phone company calls and ask if they can speak to his wife and its the truth

So ladies share with me what you have found since marriage, any difference anything at all

Let's get our side of our board moving!!!

Ahhhh, you must only be married 2 weeks. LOL!! j/k!

Ditto to all the things you said!! Sometimes I can't believe how lucky I am to have him. I truly love him more each day. He's my 'bestest friend'.

If the first year is the hardest, we're going to have a lifetime of happiness!!

I love so many silly things about being married...
Having someone to get me a drink when I'm sick, someone to keep my feet warm when it's cold at night, someone to check for noises in the middle of the night, and most of all, the fact that that 'someone' is mine, my best friend, best hugger and kisser, and the person who loves me when I'm at my most unloveable, FOREVER!

OOO!! JennRenee just reminded me about 1 of the best things about being married!

Last night I was in our bathroom and looked up to see a HUGE!!!!!!! and I mean HUGE!!!!!!! water bug (we live in Manhattan and they're renovating the apartment next door, need I say more!!)

So, I come screaming out of the bathroom, like only a girly-girl can do - my hero of a husband leaps out of his 1/2 sleep, grabs the can of Raid, tells me to 'step away from the bathroom' and goes to work!

He emerged 2 minutes later doing his muscle-man pose. Victorious again!!

For those keeping score - this (disgusting) summer:

DH- 3
WaterBugs - 0

Rahhhhhhh!!!!!

God, I love that man!

At the risk of sounding rote, I will say that I love everything about being married. I have never had a single moment of doubt that he is 100% the right person for me. My specifics would go for pages. LOL, Kathi, I use to live in the city so I can so relate to the waterbug situation. YUCK!!!! That's one thing I don't miss! DH did kill a few spiders last night :o)

Kathi you are absolutely right, and I couldn't agree more! Having a 'Bug Terminator' is one of the best things about being married!!!

We have been living together for so long its hard to pick out the different feelings.. we have know each other for about 13 years,, and i am SOO happy to be married to the man i was best friends with since high school...I love it when we touch toes under the sheets just as we fall asleep!! thats the best feeling EVER... and i have to say i am the bug killer in the family!! LOL.. he screams like a baby when there is a spider in the house and i have to come running with a tissue!!!

Ditto what everyone said!!! I love falling asleep with his arms around me and that safe feeling he gives me!!!! I feel that our bond gets stronger everyday and he cracks me up everyday. And he puts up with me once a month when he says 'the ***** is here'!!!!!! LOL :) As for the bug killing, my wonderful man will NOT KILL SPIDERS because they are 'friendly' and 'help us'. Well, they ain't helping me with anything but giving me agita, so even though I'm freaking, when he's not looking, I smash 'em!!!

I love the companionship. I just love having a partner. I visitied New York a few times without him and I was a mess. Now, my mom is telling me that she is not allowing me in her house for a weekend without him. The first few hours are okay. Then I start getting really miserable and I am calling him, and he is calling me. The nights alone are hell.

In summary, this is best thing that has ever happened to me.
