Shark Steam Mop?

Shark Steam Mop?

Does anyone have one, and if so, how do you like it?

I have a Swiffer Wet Jet because we have wood floors, linoleum in the kitchen, and tile in the bathroom, so I don't really need a hard core vacuum. My first Swiffer, the jets stopped working. So I bought a second Swiffer, and this one right out of the box the jets didn't work! I am going to switch the batteries to brand new ones to make sure that it's not a lack of power issue, and if they still don't work then I'm going to return the second one...but I need something to clean the floors with.

Before I invest considerably more money on the steam mop, I'm curious if anyone has any feedback. TIA!

I borrowed my parents to clean the tile in my bathroom...using that and a magic eraser, i was able to get the grout cleaned really well!

Just used my shark last week for the first time. It is a pain in the butt but worth it!!!

I love it! It takes a little while to get use to it but once you get use to it, it is really easy to use and requires no cleaner. The replacement pads are a little $$ but they wash really well.

I love mine! You do need to sweep really well before using the steam mop though otherwise it pushes the dirt into a straight line at the front of the pad. It makes me feel so much better knowing I'm using one less chemical in cleaning my house!

Honestly i use only organic cleaning materials for my house. Since u know im about 90% organic gal.

I dont use the shark we have all wood floors except in bathrooms we have real stone tiles. So its not good for that either. DH does the floors he uses a reg squeeze mop & the organic solution. As he washes them he dries with towel so no water sits on the wood. They come out fabby. For the stone tiles same deal only the grout does need a brush taken to it here & there. But id rather have that then ruin those tiles.

So i guess im really no help here. lol

Thanks for the input! As it turned out, the new batteries in the Swiffer made the jets work a little better than before...still a little wonky, but it'll do. So I'm just going to keep this for now, since it's just an apartment and I hate to clean LOL, and maybe will invest in a steam mop once we have a house.

I use it and its great but my floors are from the 70s and nothing we use make it look nice and clean. The beauty of renting and not owning

I have one and honestly, I think it really depends on what type of flooring you have... I have italian ceramic tile in my kitchen/dr and it doesnt work very well and leaves streaks... I've been told using distilled water/vinegar will resolve this... I used a mixture last time and my house stunk from the vinegar... BUT the streaks did go away...

i LOVE it!

I use it on our laminate floors in the kitchen and tile floor in the bathrooms. Being the total clean freak that I am, I love that it's a steam clean.
