Shelves- where did you get yours and photos

It is time for us to put something up on our bare walls. I know Pottery Barn has some great shelves, but where else did people get there's? And any photos would be great.

I dont have a scanner hooked up. I got mine at Target. So much cheaper than than Pottery Barn .

Yeah the Target shelves look just like Pottery Barn's. I need a mantel for my fireplace and was looking for a shelf to do the job but none were long enough.

I got mine at target also...they look exactly like the pottery barn ones at less than half the price. I also went to Pottery Barn today to get some frames and then went to Target and they had almost the same exact frames and mattings for about $10 less.

Target. They had the same ones in Pottery Barn. These are the ones we got for our bathroom we recently did over.

Wow! I love those Target shelves!! They are just as nice as Pottery Barn's and I bet MUCH less expensive. I want them for the baby's room.

I got colorful shelves at Target for the baby's room. A deep red and a blue (got in 2 different colors.)

Another vote for Target...i have a little one and it was way cheaper than PB. I think the PB ones are better wood and all that but it looks exactly the same and you never really touch them so you dont need the best.

The only bad thing about those shelves (no matter what brand) is that they are such a pain in the a$$ to put up b/c of the way the nails have to be lined up with the holes...so annoying!

But the bathroom shelves are such a great idea! I think i need these :D

thanks. I will check out target soon. I want the ledge shelves that I saw in the PB new catalog so the Target ones might work out great.

I've put those shelves up and they can be tricky for the reason Stef said.

I was looking at the Lillian vernon catalog and they have them. I dont know that their prices are good or not but they have them in different lengths and they had a really cool pic in the print catalog. Here's a pic from their website. It's not the same one I saw in the catalog but somewhat similar.

Thats a pretty arrangement. I only have one small one hung in between two candle sconces in my LR. Sort of like the photo but w/o the two larger ones above/below. I will have to take a photo.

I want to install a picture rail along the entire length of one wall so I can do something like this..but I want to have it lighted too so that is something I need help with.

Michele, I love the window seat arrangement in the new catalog! We need to replace the window in the LR (don't know when!), but I'd love to use this look as my inspiration for 'dressing' my window seat.

I envision much lighter tones, so it has a more open/airy feel....instead of suede drapes, I'd use sheers to create the drama, but still filter light. LOVE THIS!!

I was going to do the wood shelves also...but then I found these glass ones and really liked them too...they are from Ikea..for the 31' long it is $17.95.
