I would just do a classic pump-either nude or black..
Because of the pattern on the dress, anything too strappy or bright would look like it was competing.
Plus if you think you have a short body, straps will only shorten you more.

Whats funny is I'm tall and have long legs, and I STILL don't wear strappy shoes with dresses/skirts-I feel like they totally cut off the line of my leg.

I wouldn't...it will be too much with the print.
If ANYTHING wear black opaque tights and black pumps.
Again, anything that cuts off at any part of your ankle will shorten you-even leggings.
Trust the expert!! I've worked in fashion for years on top of going to F.I.T!
