Shopping Question

Anyone have suggestions where I can purchase inexpensive but nice suits, especially petite sizes? I have tried Marshall's, Macy's, Burlington Coat Factor, haven't come up with much.

Or any ideas where I can order online?

Wow, I never knew JC Penney had petites.

I ended up finding two nice suits online at Macy's (didn't love anything in the stores).

Too bad you're not larger... lol... I have tons of suits I haven't worn since I left NY...

So I used to have to wear suits every single day and I actually had about 30 suits (which is insane). For a while I was getting a lot of Liz Claiborn ones but as I lost weight those started to fit funny.

I mostly love Tahari Petite suits and find them at Macy's. The skirt suits fit best, but some of the pants suits are ok. The other major brands I'd get were Jones NY and sometimes I'd pick up some coordinating separates at Ann Taylor Loft (now The Loft). I especially love when you can wear a shift dress with a matching suit jacket. I find those really classy looking and very convenient! I also had some Calvin Klein and some Ann Klein suits. But really, Macy's with a coupon is your best bet. They have some amazing sales!

Definitely pick up an extra black jacket, too. I have a Rafaella one that would work great with a pair of black slacks in a pinch (plus you can get black pants that you can wash, which makes for expanding your wardrobe considerably).

I finally got down to a 12 P before I left NY, and in some Loft suits was wearing 10 P!
