Short term disability insurance..

hey girls,
does anyone have a short term disability insurance policy that they did outside of work? this type of policy stays in effect regardless if you switch jobs. I got a quote from allstate. i was wondering if anyone knew of any others..i want to start up a policy before getting pregnant. thanks...
