short term leases

does anyone know of anyone needing a short term subleaser or anything of that nature?
long story short- my husband and I just bought a condo but it isn't ready and we are now with my parents! We were supposed to move into a sublease but it fell through because there new home is delayed as well!
any advice?

How short term is short term? Not sure where you live but check listings in college/local papers and realtors near universities and colleges (ie SUNY Stony Brook).

There may be a few rentals during the summer break and before the fall semester. Esp. now that students have graduated.

Worse case scenario - you could always rent a place for a year with the right to sublease and then lease it out for the balance of your term after your condo is ready.

Good luck! :)
