Should I be a BM?

Should I be a BM?

Not sure where to post this...I'll stick with you girls since I been posting the most on this board.

My cousin is getting married in May in Key Largo Florida. We are the same age and were inseperable when we were kids - however, growing up we grew apart...she now lives in florida and we always make an effort to contact each other a couple times a year. So many years has past since we been really close that it's almost like we don't know each other anymore (well she thinks she knows me, but is wrong on her perception ) Anyway...I had asked her to be a bm in my wedding but because of her finacial situation and the fact she had just moved to florida she kindly declined. She did however give a reading and help hand out the programs and bubbles at the end. Last night she asked me to be a BM in her wedding...telling me it's ok if it's too much for you...ect. ect.

I don't know what to do...I could def swing it...but not sure if I want to??? Just wanted to hear what you guys would do in this situation.

TIA

If you could swing it, I would.

I wouldn't do it. It seems like a lot of effort for someone you are not that close to anymore. Maybe you could do a reading...

I guess it depends on how much you want to be a bridesmaid. Do you want to go get the gown, have it fitted, go through the shower and planning process with her?

If not, decline.

If you don't want to do it I wouldn't but know that it'll probably hurt her.
