I havent gotten my marriage certificate yet-should I be worried that it wasnt sent in? And who do I need to call if the church says they sent it?

I wouldn't worry. I think it takes around 2-3 weeks. I'd call after a month.

Doesn't hurt to just give them a call to follow up if you are worried about it. Our was in our mailbox when we returned from our HM.

We got ours 2 weeks after we were married. Just call and make sure your pastor sent in the paper work. It shouldn't take any longer than a month.

We got ours in the mail last week. Call your officant to make sure the paper work was sent.

We got ours within a week of our wedding. Which from what I understand is almost unheard of. I would wait to the month mark and call them. We were told it takes a few weeks. Or you can call just to see what the progress is if you want. HTH

I would give the church a call now to confirm that they sent it in, that'll ease your worries. If they did then it's probably still in the works. You can call your Town Hall and see if they've received it yet.

Thats what I did today!-they said it was mailed-I feel a lil better

I got mine in a week, but some places may take longer. I would call after a month....call the town hall that should be issuing it.

I got my min in 1 week. I was told it all depends on how long the church takes.

Nope still havent gotten it-church said it was mailed the monday after but then again I didnt get my unity candle back
