Should i include this in my thank yous!

Dh and i have started to write our thank you , we are starting with his side since is side was smaller. He wants to include a list of all the people we used for the wedding. Do u think this is tacky? he think it will help someone down the line with their own wedding or that the guests in our wedding can refer to this list. i think it not a great idea i could be wrong. let me know what you guys think?

Unless there is someone in the family who is engaged or planning a big party, I don't think anyone will seriously care who you used. Sorry to be blunt, but if anyone is interested in hiring one of your vendors they'll just contact you to ask about it.

I don't think that its tacky..just a waste of writing...most people won't pay attention...if they want to know what vendor you used..they would contact you directly...

i said that it was tacky but my dh is doing for his side. i will not be added this list to my thank yous for my side of the family.

it's kinda tacky.. bc most people aren't getting married and they probably wouldn't really care who you used.. I would leave it out

I think it would almost look like an advertisement or even like they sponsored your wedding so you're giving them a shout out. I would personally leave it out. If anyone is engaged and your DH really wants to let them know who you used, I'd include a separate note with the TY's for those people only. JMO.

yeah i agree with you ! it true most people arent getting married or dont know of someone who is.

i would leave it out... who cares??? if they really loved our band or flowers or what have you, i am sure they'll contact you to see who you used.

I agree, and also to me it kind of sounds like you're advertising for your vendors or something which might come off as strange.

Athough it is nice your DH wants to help your guests I don't think this is the way to go about it. I think making a list of your vendors is kinda showy. If someone liked a specific vendor that much they will contact you for the necessary info.
