signing our religious marriage certificate tonight
As I've written before, DH forgot the marriage license on the day of the wedding. So we had to meet the officiant at 6:30am the next day in Dunkin Donuts to sign the NYS marriage license.
At the wedding itself, we had the Jewish traditional Chuppah, under which we were supposed to have signed the Jewish document, the Kettuba. However, without the marriage license, the Rabbi refused to sign the Kettubah. So tonight, with all of our friends present at our NYE party, we'll surprise everyone (and the 2 witnesses) and sign it at 11:59pm!
So we'll officially be married tonight!
