Simply Romantic Tips to keep the Spark going!!!

Romantic Gestures:
Order pizza, turn the television set to a game he wants to watch, and sit with him, (Try to show genuine interest!) If there's no game on, rent his favorite adventure movie.

Romantic Gift Ideas:
Give him an envelope that contains a check and an announcement that says, 'You've just won $50 (or whatever amount you choose, or even a certificate for something that he can redeem at anytime, ie massage, back rub etc) to spend any way you want, for being a wonderful husband!'

If you have any of your own, please feel free to share

Re: Simply Romantic Tips to keep the Spark going!!!

Similar to what you wrote Shamma.... I make little coupons for my DH. He can 'redeem' them whenever he wants. It's very cute and romantic when he pulls one out

Re: Simply Romantic Tips to keep the Spark going!!!

I bought a cute coupon booklet at Borders and I gave one to hubby I think he might have forgotten about it, b/c he has not redeemed it yet

LOL Shamma
Last valentine's day I did the most romantic thing...(am not romantic ) so even DH was very surprised and pleased.

I made my own coupons and put them in balloons that I blew up and left all over the bedroom. I had candles lit everywhere...it was VERY romantic! I gave him a pin and he had to pop the balloons to see what was inside.

I thought that would be a great idea for someone to propose.....

Re: Simply Romantic Tips to keep the Spark going!!!

I think I did something recently that was very unselfish and sweet.

We went to return some duplicate gifts from our registry- so we got a nice amount of $$$ back. Instead of using it for something for us- I told him that he could use the $$$ to buy some new clothes or whatever for himself, because he really needs it and he felt guilty about buying them.

Kesha, that was very selfless indeed.
