Does anyone know if a law was passed in NY where people no longer have to stop at stop signs anymore? I was in an accident on friday because the guy passed a stop sign and I would have been in one this morning if I didn't SLAM on my breaks...literally! My passenger went flying! To top it off, the guy looked at us and laughed!

I thnk that there are WAY to many not following the laws of the roads. I have noticed that things have been busier and worse on the roads lately too.

People are unreal.
The day after we had all that snow (it was still icy), a guy just completely went thru the sign. Thank god I was stopped and was just about to go whenn I noticed he wasn't stopping. F'n asssholes.

UGH!! People drive soo recklessly. It's like they don't realize that thye could kill someone because of their recklesness. What an a$$ for even laughing.

What an @sshole! A few weeks ago a woman decided that she didn't need to stop at the stop sign because I already did. Jerk. I flipped shlt on her!

I was sitting up the bus stop the other day picking up one of the kindergartners I care for. The intersection has a 4 way stop sign. I counted literally 8 cars in about 5 minutes that completely blew the stop sign or hardly braked. Its a fairly busy intersection. People think they are above the law and the rules of the road. Very scary.

omgg.. i hope everything is ok!!
i have to say people are so lax about road rules these days.. whenever we pull out of our garage, its in the middle of the street and there are two stop signs on either side, people just fly through.. I always tell DH to just wait for a few before he pulls out and last thursday, i was crossing the street, and it was a 4 way stop, you would think that people would stop for pedestrians..

I think when the weather is bad is when all the bad drivers come out. You not only have to pay attention to what you are doing you have to watch everyone else. I am so sorry he laughed. What an @ss!

the more I drive, the more I noticed people driving with their heads up their a$$es. I almost get hit by someone passing a stop sign on a daily basis. Thats why Im forced to drive extra slow even at a stop sign that isnt on my side. I just took the defensive driving course this weekend and the instructor told us one of his students failed the road test because he passed a stop sign and his student says, 'everyone in NY knows you dont really have to stop, you just roll through' Ive been trying to keep my road rage in check but its IMPOSSIBLE.
