What are some of your single behaviors that have changed since getting married?
Meaning what would you do before at home that you can't or just don't do anymore now that you live with DH.

i miss laying in my bed and getting a sound sleep lol and i guess just picking up and walking out the door

I probably should reply to my own question..LOL
I miss doing whatever I wanted after work. I miss coming home to silence and being able to actually go online and watch tv at the same time. DH monopolizes the computer in the evening.

I suppose the only thing that has changed is just the way I spend money. When I was single I didn't have to care about saving anything yet. Now I have to be smart about my purchases and really buckle down to save for a house.
The only thing I had time to do when I was single was paint and draw. I miss that, but that was also back in the day when I was working part time and could stay up until all hours of the night just drawing or painting. I haven't been inspired lately so I haven't done it, but I don't think that has much to do with being married now.

If I didn't have my own computer, I would kill DH lol He plays WOW on his all night long so I would never get any play time and I know it would cause and argument.

DH also plays WOW and I'm about to kill him. Last night I got all witchy with him.
He did tell me to get my own computer and i told him he needed to remember he wasn't single anymor eand the same way I've had to modfy some of my single habits that he would have to modify some of his.
I'll probably need to get my own computer though.

let's see - i miss being able to just come and go as i please, including just random nights of having a last minute girls night at my place. since i moved to LI, i'm too far from my friends for that kind of spontaneity.
i'm also a wine drinker (well, not now), and would like to unwind w/ a glass or 2 at night, and it took a long time to get comfortable doing that living w/ DH. he still doesn't like it, but i do, so he has no choice. but i always felt a little uncomfortable.

I miss getting dressed up, doing my hair and make-up. Now that iam an old married lady. I wear comfy clothes!! LOL. Like when you were single you always made sure you looked good. Now its only if there is a reason to. I also miss having no bills and mom cooking every night!!!

Oh no, not him too :( I told DH that that game is a 'soul sucker'. Everyone I know who has played it looses their souls. It's proven fact! lol

nothing so much at home- but I tend not to stay as late at the office anymore- I get excited to head home & see dh- so I only stay a little late 2 days a week now

I have to agree with a lot of you. I miss having the whole bed, that is why we went from queen to king. I have definitely changed the way I spend money. It was instantly to as soon as we came home from the hm I became so conscious of the way I was spending money. I also say that now I cook dinner almost every night. Before we were married we ate out constantly or my mom cooked.

I like to write a lot and I haven't been since I got married. I love spending time with DH so it's not as though I'm 'upset' about it, but I do miss all of that free time to do whatever I want. Now I find that I do all of my leisure reading & writing before he gets home from work, but never on the weekends.

being that I lived home until I was married with a very trditional Italian mother and father... I never didi my own laundry or anything for myself.. so that has all changed.
otherwise I kepp going to the gym ( maybe even go more that I live with him), I still go out without my hubbt and with the girls.
