Anyone else get sinus infections as often as I do? I'm on my 3rd one for the year! its horrible!
I have a doctors appointment at 1 to get something to help me breath again!
For those who get them, what does your dr prescribe? Cause the z -pack just ain't cuttin' it!

I started getting them infrequently when I was 18 or so. They progressively got worse and became more frequent. Now I'm diagnosed with chronic sinusitis and no meds have worked. I was on different antibiotics for 5 months last year into this year and it just made me miserable. My best advice is to use a neti pot or something similar. I use this: sinus rinse
I use it 1-2 times daily and it helps keep things more clear. Of course, as I type this, I am suffering from a terrible sinus headache! It never fails this time of year.

My doctor usually prescribes biaxin and then a sinus spray.

Thanks girls! Im going to the doctor at 1, hopefully he'll give me something that works ASAP!

My sinuses are always inflamed. They hate me. But as far as full out infections, I havent had one in a while. When I first got my cat, I was getting them often.

I have always had this problem. The worst is when i get horrible sinus infections, it is the absolute worst. Ive been prescribed lots of different things throughout the years. Most of the time the antibiotics dont work at first and i have to go on them again, which s*cks since i hate taking antibiotics. Also, i just cant do the nasal sprays.

I used to get the z-pack from the dr all the time. When I told him it didn't work he told me I had to wait the full 10 days even though I only took it for like 5. Apparently it works for 5 days after your done taking it. Now I started going to a new dr and hes given me levaquin. it works pretty well, but this year alone with 3 other sinus infections Im hesitant to ask for that again.
