Im new to the newlywed side! I had a question about what is the standard size of proofs, I just picked mine up and they are a 5x5 size, we get to keep the proofs and I am just thinking where can I even find an album to hold them. What size were your proofs and did you get an album for them?

Mine are 5x5 and 4x6 - I found albums and frames for the odd size at Kohl's. the 5x5 are easier to find now, I think now that so many photographers are using them as the proof size.

Our proofs came in a nice album for us. I think ours are 5x5.

My proofs are the most odd size of all 5x6 - so there is no album that holds them.
There are 5x5 albums made for wedding proofs.

I was in B&H in Manhattan yesterday and they do have albums for 5x5, but not for 5x6.

You can also try Party City for album for 5x5 proofs. I think they are $9.99.

Shamma, It's a huge video store on 9th ave and 34th street. They sell everything that's video/photography related. They have all of the fancy stuff for professionals.
btw, is your family Indian? Just wondering cause my aunt's name is Shamma. Or is your name short for something else?

My color shots are all 5x5 -- But my B&Ws are 4x6 with a thin white border...

Nina, it is just my nickname, that a cop friend of my mom gave to me. My name is Charmaine, so he calle me Sharma, but as I grew older I changed it to my liking Shamma
Thanks for the info, I also got my album for my proofs at a photo shop on Lex and 51st
