Dh wants to go this weekend and I feel like its too late and its spring- we would probably only be going for the day- which means going to Mountain Creek or Shawnee.

Yup. They are still open . If there is no snow, fake snow will be made.
my bosses son just recently went in the last week, and said it was nice
ughhh I was hoping everyone would say that my dh is crazy- I am so over anything to do with winter now and want to do spring stuff!

Yup, I've gone in April!
we go but usually to VT since its a bit colder and they usually have snow this late in the season

i just went this past weekend, and honestly the conditions suckked. and this was in vermont. I would check the forecast because anywhere local will be way worse.
Oh and keep in mind 1. many mountains that are local may not make snow this late in the season and 2. if the temp is above freezing they can't make snow.
that said, I've gone spring skiing in April and it can be beautiful, but this past weekend left me disappointed because I was SO looking forward to it and I hate skiing on slush.

I went to Okemo in VT this past weekend. It was very icy conditions, even with the fake snow.
