Snowed in weekend

Not trying to brag at all but I am just reveling in the happiness of this weekend! Being snowed in was so fun and relaxing...we watched movies, did some baking, hung out in pjs by our lit tree with our christmas cookie candle burning...it was just such a blessing to have 'found' time. Anyone else have that? I am just so lucky to have someone to spend days like this with...cheesy. I know!

We dont sit still.....not even in a blizzard.

We went to a party In merrick and DH truck doesnt have 4WD so we took the MINI....and let me tell it was a champ. I drove home at 2am Saturday night in it and made it all the way home to Lindenhurst with no problems until I pulled in my driveway and got stuck halfway in.

Yesterday we shoveled and then went Xmas shopping til about 8 last night...

So cute! I wish DH and I got alone time this weekend. My neighbor was either at my house or I was at hers. Living in our condo complex everyone was outside hanging out together etc. Last night we set up a table with food and wine outside in the middle of the snow filled parking lot and the entier complex hung out and drank in the snow it was freeeeeeeezing!

I did get to see alot of DH though (which is very rate), he had to call in sick to work bc his car literally got stuck in the middle of the road...

Nope - I'm here at work.

BUT we did have a day like that yesterday and it was great. We had so much fun!

I wish we had a weekend like that! DH had to work Saturday and yesterday.

Yesterday he had to work 6 am to 2 pm. I unpacked some of the boxes from the move, did laundry and just tried to get organized. He came home, showered and then he left to go Christmas shopping while I wrapped presents.

We actually weren't snowed in really... we were in the city alllll the way down in Battery Park and were afraid the ride home would be horrible... but the good ole subway/LIRR actually got us home on time!

And then we shoveled for like an hour and braved Roosevelt Field. THAT was not fun.

DH had to work today but I took off and bought a ton of wrapping paper and stuff to make more cookies. There aren't enough hours in today to do all the things I need to get done... and being on LIW right now isn't helping.

Nope...no snowed in days for us!! But we had a great time.....We had a xmas party sat night in huntington and ended up staying over our friends house. By the time we got home and shoveled...it was already late!!!!
