Gina, we, in Lancaster, are FINALLY getting MEASUREABLE snow!!! I was really concerned, driving yesterday evening, to the shower, because it snowed on the way !!!!! Mary MOB

Yeah, driving and ice and snow are not in my vocabulary!!!!!!! Last night, taking my Mom home, I was on a country road, and my Mom remarked that it looked like a sheet of glass!!!! Evidently, the road crew thought so too, because it was HEAVILY treated with whatever it was they used, a solid blanket of stones/salt crystals!!!! Mary MOB

Ever since I left New York, it seems as though all you guys have been getting is snow - and yet there's been none out here in Colorado. I always thought THIS was the cold state, but according to my Parents on Long Island, it's been MUCH colder there. Weird! (and i'm kind of in the mood for snow too, so that stinks) ![]()

That's what I'm talking about! That's what really scares me when there's black ice or sheets of ice. Glad you got home safe!
