UGH!! I have to call at 12 to find out if i have to go in..which makes NO sense because I live 20 min away and work only 7am ot 3pm!!! why would i go for 2 hours!!

I was actually happy to get up at 7, shower and get ready and I hoped they would call saying work was closed and then I would be up early and ready for the day... I neeeeed to clean my house and being up early, I could have gotten a lot done

Im at work. The LIRR train I was on was pretty empty. not everyone is a teacher. I want to know what these people do that they got snow days!! LOL.

I spoke to my parents and we were visiting them in maine last weekend and they had a foot and a half of snow. Then they got more during the week and have about 2 feet. Today they are getting another foot! LOL! Thats so much snow! But it doesn't effect anything there. They clean it so fast. The only time it delays anything iss if it gets icey. Thats the worst!! I hope our snow doesn't turn icey!

yes. and they live on the coast, so usually they dont get too much snow. Kinda like LI gets. Sometimes a bit more. But its so funny cus I forgot how it just doesn't phase people there. I used to barely get a snow day growning up unless it was like more than one foot at a time.
