What is the point of doing a review if the vendor is going to email me and tell me that I am not telling the truth in the review and that they want me to change it

I am so annoyed right now. I really don't understand the point of this website if I can't be honest in my review and have to worry about vendors emailing on my personal email because they are not happy with my review.

Wow The vendors are out of CONTROL lately!! Im so glad I only used ONE vendor from this site who gave me absolutely no problems. I dont recommend any vendors from this site anymore honestly. Its ridiculous! Except for Thomas Paul of course.

I find this practice of vendors complaining that they are getting poor reviews highly unprofessional. How can someone make an informed, educated decision regarding which vendor to use when all they read are positives reviews?

Vendors need to realize that they can and will be held accountable for poor performance. If they do not want the 'bad press' then they should provide the services that were contracted in the manner that was agreed upon. It's a really simple concept.

I don't think it is a vendor of LIW. Basically they emailed me and said my review was unfair and untruthful and that I should edit it because it is not fair to them. I emailed back saying that it is 100% truthful and that I am not willing to change it because I said nothing but the truth!

this is really getting ridiculous- that vendor had some nerve asking you to remove that post- if anything they should have apologized for letting you down and tried to make it right- thats what GOOD business people do. sorry that this happened kim

Oh and at the end of my reply email I ended it like this:

'Your email and approach to this situation was extremely unprofessional.'

And the said thing is I would have actually like this vendor until the email!

That is so messed up! If they would have put the energy they used to send you that email into giving you GREAT service, this would not have happened.

Is there a chance of our reviews being pulled due to bad reviews? I've been spending a TON of time on mine (i'm very detailed), and i'm gonna be SO p i s s e d off if it gets pulled!

Yea i would have recommended them but after that email no way! So unprofessional. If anything they could have emailed to discuss why I was upset.

Actually, the email said that my review 'annoyed him'

I agree 100%. I wanted to write a review but I wasn't happy with two of my vendors and I think as a bride you should be aware of what can happen. One of my vendors made me 40 minutes late to my ceremony because they needed to stop and eat breakfast before coming to me. The bride she booked to begin before me didn't have her girls at her house when told to, so she ran very late with them and then wanted to eat. Her assistant ,who did arrive on time, told me all this.
