hahahha...i was like...hmmm...last night...how was last night for ya? still trying to used to married 'nights'

dude, i am still calling myself my old name. my email at work isn't changed but everything else besides my passport is. at work, i just say my old name ...but i know once i get a new job it'll be easier cause i'll be using it.

i don't HATE it as much as i thought i would!

btw, where is the old crew?!

Getting use to it but it has been hard at times to remember...At my job, I am constantly signing my name & checks...I have to stop sometimes & remember which name I have to sign!

I remember signing my first paycheck after my name change, I started with the 'W' from my maiden name!!! Then I had to change the 'W' to a 'P'..You can just imagine what that looked like The only document I still have to change is my passport!!! However I do LOVE the shorter last name!

Yeah, I wish there were 'last nights' to chat about! Hahahahahahha!

Everything is pretty much changed at work, but I'm in an identity crisis mode - I don't know when to use my 'new' name and when to use my 'real' name!

The Old Crew - they're here...popping their heads out once in a while....Hollie's on LIF, Jessica's busy with lfe in general, and the rest are floating!

it still sounds weird to me... but I think I adjusted rather quickly.... for someone who hates change

I'm legally changed but I still go by my maiden name at work.

I am in limbo! Ha.

Well, I have been signing checks with Kathryn Maidenname Marriedname b/c we had a joint back account already, but we changed my name on it, but didn't order new checks (yes, I am being cheap and not paying to order new checks)

But everything else I have been pretty good at. My name is now the same as DH's step mom, so that can be funny. She likes to call my office and go 'Hi can I speak to Kate D.' and the receptionist asks who it is she goes 'Kate D.' Nerd.

I just received my certificate yesterday, so I'm gonna go tomorrow and change my name at SS & DMV. So I'll 'officially' be Mrs. Felix!!!!

I confess though that when I saw my new surname on the certificate, I felt a twinge of sadness!!!

I'm here! I also added John's last name to mine without a hyphen. It took a while to say Hollie 2 last names. Nothing has been changed at work yet, so I am signing my maiden name still. However everything else has changed. I am somewhat used to having a new last name now.

Me too!

I am still not used to it - its looooong and Italian and I am used to a very short and easy name.

I'm a teacher and keep signing passes with the wrong name or catching it halfway through.

Or I will introduce myself to someone and mess up my last name and then feel complled to explain that I just got married so they don't think I'm a total moron

It's still an adjustment because right now half of my things are changed over and half are not yet.

I didn't realize how much crap I have to change over!!!! But I still catch myself saying Janna F. instead of Janna J.

The main things are done thankfully!!! (DMV, Social Security, Bank)
