So how would you handle this???

We just got back from our HM and are going over banking and bills, etc. My parents deposited the $$$ from our wedding into my checking account and it looks like one of the guests' checks bounced. We don't know who it is yet (i'm on hold with the bank now) but i'd imagine whoever it is would be mortified. How do you handle this?? Do you tell the person?? I feel awful!!

It didn't bounce, there was something wrong with the check. THANK GOD!

Good that it didn't bounce.
If it did, the giver of the bounced check is also notified.
Sticky situation, but personally, I would not approach the gift giver.
If I was the one that gave a bad check, I would immediately and quite embarrassedly give a cash gift to the recipient.
