So I don't think I am getting a second interview..

So I don't think I am getting a second interview..

for the job I applied for here. I think I would have found out by now, and I know that the people who do the second round of interviews already have them set up (my boss told me)...He said he wasn't 100% sure that they contacted everyone yet so I am waiting patiently.

Part of me feels like a huge failure and upset and the other part of me is not sad at all. Instead kind of happy and excited.

I do want to get into this program and I am still hoping for the best. However, I told DH that if I didn't get in to this program it was a sign that we had to start making sooner rather than later

Please send good vibes my way... whatever happens is fine with me.

Yea that is exactly how I feel. Although recently the group I am in is unbearable.. but I still can look at jobs internally (hopefully)

well I think you have a super postive attitaude about it either way - I hope you get the 2nd interview though - even so you just have the choice to say no. . and if not, you are right, other things will present themselves - maybe something even better! Good luck

He doesn't really know. I know they decide and let you know who got into the program by Jan 18th. But yesterday he came over and asked me when I had an interview and with who and I said I hadn't heard anything... and he said thats weird bc he knew that at least one of the executives running the program already had interviews set up for next week. I know that doesn't mean that I def. will not get one. I just have a weird feeling about it...

and part of me doesn't even want to get it. I am a mess.

i think you have a terrific outlook on it! Good for you. All too often people fail to see the good in bad things... so it's like a breath of fresh air when someone does.

Thanks Kerri. I decided from now on I am always going to look for the good in the bad things.. otherwise life is too depressing. Don't get me wrong, I am a little let down and a little sad but I know it wasn't meant to be... and like i said, maybe its a sign that or are in my future instead.
