So I finished my first hand-knit scarf this week...
...and wore it yesterday and today DH decided he liked it and he wore it to work. It is pretty plain and green so it wasn't feminine but he is tall and I think it was a little short for him.
He is so cute, though, because he wanted to wear something I made...

I will try to take a pic this weekend. I am working on one for my mom now, so I should take pics of both of them.
Some girls at work taught me and now I am addicted.
I went tax-free yarn shopping yesterday. What an experience!

I made myself a scarf and Ray actually asked me if I could make one for him!!! Meanwhile he always makes fun of me for knitting and crocheting and calls me an old lady. it is so addicting isn't it? I love the homespun yarns.

Julz, how did you learn? I can't get off the first step, well I can make the slip knot and then the next step but after that I am lost. I bought a book at ACMoore, and I am getting so frustrated.
P.S. Dh makes fun of me all the time. Old married lady.

That's so cute. Knitting is so 'in' right now and I want to learn. I bought an embroiderly kit and have been having lots of fun with it. It's so relaxing.

I am still new at this but there are some pics on the craft board of my Dog Sweater and my Scarf. Both were crocheted. I never finished my knitted scarf. it takes so much longer than crochet.

Kris makes fun of me too. Last night we went to AC Moore to get yarn for HIS scarf.
