also what about people that said no but gave a gift ???
eta: i did a search with ' thank you ' and nothing came up. i also did a search on thank you cards and its mostly people's pics or them saying them sent them out

For close family and friends I wrote:
Thank you so much for your thoughtful and generous gift. We really appreciate it. We were so so happy that you were there to share our special day with us.

Depending on the person, I would throw in a few extra lines too.
For 'No's' who gave a gift...same thing minus that part about sharing our special day.
I don't know if that helps at all....that is pretty much what I wrote though

For those that gave a gift, but couldn't attend we wrote: Thank you for your generous gift. We wish you could have been there, but know that you were there in spirit. Some we even thanked them for their prayers too. Eh, cheesy.
