I asked her when we were going to have kids (DH and I are NOT TTC yet) and she told me she saw something in our future about the halfway point one year from now and us on vacation and getting pregnant and not expecting it... Well, I guess the Mediterranean cruise we're going on with my parents exactly 6 months from the day I was read would be the vacation and time she was SPECIFICALLY referring to.. I almost fell off the couch when she said this!!! Do you believe in psychics?

Re: So I got read by a psychic this weekend!
i most definetly think there are psychics that can definetly do their thing...I have cousins & friends that have gone to the same phsycic for years and the stuff they're told is CRAZY & completely legit.. i also think there are a decent amount of fakes out there as well. Personally i have no interest in going or ever being read.... for me there's no need to find answers because i trust that God has a plan for my life & takes care of things...that's just the faith i was brought up with.. just feel that by going to phsycic i'm opening myself up to a whole nother realm and i'm not a fan of it... I WILL say that i've always been intrigued by it & i'm always interested in all the stories that people come back with..and I do see why some people go to get peace of mind or feel better about certain things or even just because of curiosity... but i would never feel comfortable going - just a personal thing!

I definitely without a doubt believe in them, I agree with Taryn-there are definitely fakes out there.
On the same note: My DHs BF passed away a few years ago, at that same time we were looking to buy a car...i wanted a white nissan altima, DH wanted a white maxima...we wound up with his BFs white altima b/c his parents wanted to get rid of it. Not long after I got rear ended in SC and asked EVERYONE not to tell his mother b/c I was afraid she would be upset. So no one told her, his father and brother knew but not her...she went to see a psychic and he came thru trying to tell her about the little accident...she kept saying no there was no accident. Came home and started telling her husband and son about catchin this psychic in a BS line and went on to tell them about the 'accident' that never happened...needless to say they both just looked at her jaws on the table and had to spill the beans about my accident. It was a little accident, I mean it was bad but nothing like I thought it was before I saw the damage on the car.
She find this to be the only way that she can stay connected to him and she has come home and called us to tell us things the psychic said about us. About 1 month before our wedding a psychic told her that he wanted us to know that he was excited for the big celebration coming up-at first she had a moment b/c he passed away 5/11 (the date being 14 days before our wedding) so she couldnt think past that at the moment...but once she realized what he was talking about she started crying, he passed before we picked a date and he passed in 05.
It was nice for us too b/c neither one of us can go to a psychic
