So I just went over to LIFamilies

And I was F-in overwhelemd by all the foreign LINGO they use in their chats. Especially anything having to do with babies. Dear God I was intimidated. I feel like it would take me forever and a day just to catch up...and thats WITH the lingo list!!

And I hate how thier site is that weird font they use...its just looks not as user friendly as LIW. I dunno, maybe Im too comfy where I am, LOL

I hear ya about the lingo...drives me batty sometimes.
But you do get used to the interface once you're there a while. It all seems foreign and unfriendly at first....just give it time!

Yes we're both up way too early.

i know !!! im signed up there but when i read the posts it just drives me crazy bc i have no idea whats going on.

Aww... don't feel that way! It's not so bad once you get used to it! As for the lingo... there is a 'Lingo' list that you can click on. It's above the 'Quick Navigation' pull down menu. Hope you come and chat soon!!

Know what you mean. The lingo is hard to follow at times. For a while i had 2 screens open, one to read the board and the other screen had the chat lingo! ha

OMG I feel the same way, thought it was just me! I feel better now. lol

it takes a little while to learn the lingo.. but the TTC board is awesome!! the girls are so great over there and is such a huge help!!!

Theres a NFR (Not family related) board that is pretty much like this one...

You get a ton of topics.. Its a pretty busy board.

I had to stop going on TTC, it was confusing the H E L L out of me! lol I'm just gonna go for it and hope for the best
