so im quitting my job

so im quitting my job...i told my office manager and she is upset but happy for me...my boss who doesnt know yet will have a heart attack...but who knows maybe he'll give me a huge raise i will work in Garden City/mineola ...for those of you who remember i went on an interview last week and it was great got the job!... the law firm is much closer to my house than huntington village

i am still super nervous its like starting from scratch.

UPDATE:: so i told my boss yesterday and he just didnt say a word to me, he is totally avoiding the topic about me leaving or anything else. he has not even offered a raise, nada, or asked me ANYTHINGGG in regards to me leaving. the office manager said hes upset, but is that a way to deal with it??

Yeah, it can be almost scary to be starting somewhere new. Everything's unfamiliar at first, but soon it'll become just as comfortable as the old job with the more people you meet. So hang in there and good luck!!!!

Congrats! You def owe it yourself to find something that works for you. If you're not happy with your current job, it'll just make you feel more miserable to drag yourself to work everyday. And don't worry, it's perfectly normal to feel that way starting from scratch. You'll eventually work your way up, we all have to start from the bottom somewhere.
