I mentioned it to mine last week and he wasn't too thrilled about participating in it (we are def going), but I just sent him all the info so we'll see what he says.

I'm assuming most guys just don't get it and might not want to be a part of it... so is yours up for it???

My DH would rather die...He wants nothing to do with LIW/the Knot (especially now that we're married). He tolerated me being on here all the time when we were planning, but thinks it's a ridiculous 'hobby' now that I'm not planning a wedding.

I guess it's a good thing that we live in MA...Couldn't go even if I wanted to!

That about sums up how mine feels. He tries to be supportive of LIW, esp when he saw some of the savings and creative ideas, but he might as well be asking me if I'd want to be the stripper at his friend's next Bachelor Party.

I'd like to go so I can see what all the hype is about, but I'll most likely be attending stag. Any takers?

Dh is really good and will do it because he knows it will make me happy and I would be able to wear my dress again. I love my dress!

I believe the guys got tools last year. They also stood a chance to win a plasma TV. With not so many guys there, the odds are good. He also knows it would mean a lot to me.

Yeah I do. but he tried to get me to get satellite until I learned about the football package. At least with a plasma, I can actually watch stuff too.

I didn't think mine would be last year and he was all for it. He had a great time....we enjoyed renewing our vows not to mention he loves his tools too!

I had misunderstood the contest at first and got DH to agree to enter for the bride/groom etc.

But now that I know the deal, I withdrew our entry in the contest and we just plan on attending. He doesn't seem all that enthused about it but agreed because he knows I'm enthused. I think it has something to do with the fact that I'm telling him this while he's at work and he's not happy at the moment!

He'll come around. It's just like going to a regular wedding, except there are parting gifts!!

I mentioned it to DH and he said 'Let me know the day and I will take off' It's weird because we both work weekends and he was ready to take the day off like it was a real wedding. Well, the chocolate fountain will be running right? That makes a difference.

With all of the weddings we've been to this year and the fact that he has or had to wear a tuxedo at 4 of the weddings, he said 'what's another wedding?'

That and he said he would want to get married all over again.....

I was the same way 2 years ago! I signed up and when we were picked for MOH & Best Man he was so not happy... especially when he had to give the best man speech

But in the end he had a lot of fun, and won the plasma TV! Tell your DHs about the TV and maybe that will get them excited for it.
