so mad...video woes

We called our video guy asking if our video is almost done

we get a message 2 days later saying he's just about to start it and also that he lost our music list and can we send it to him again!!!!!

Im first and formost upset that its been almost 5 months and our video hasnt even been startes...then I dont know what to do about music...do I change it now that I have the chance to?

Im just LIVID because I was hoping to pick it up soon and bring it to Colorado at the end of May when we go visit family who could not come to the wedding!

I called on ours a couple of weeks ago and they said it would be another 6 weeks because they're 5 other people in front of us...
Video takes time....Don't worry....I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.

Ive been upset because both photo and video sold us with the idea that it would only take weeks to get the final products because it was digital and DH and I feel used because its been months for both

I know the final video will be worth it but its still frustrating nonetheless

this is the place to vent! If that's how they sold you, then they should at least get you something. IMO, I would call and ask for unedited video stat. That way you can at least show some footage. If that's what they told you, that it would be done asap, then it should be.

i dunno...maybe im just overreacting

I wouldnt bash him to other brides but I really expected better treatment than this...he was great the day of the wedding though.

Also, when he called an dleft his message, he sounded different. Like bummed, sadder....so maybe something happened and it has affected his work schedule

like I said, I wont knock him until I know more but Im still upset ya know?

You're not overreacting. He told us 2 months and it was longer than that for us as well. I know he had a problem with his new program so maybe that is why he is still backed up.

He did an awesome job both before and during the wedding. The video will be well worth the wait!!
