So sad, RP from LIW

In 32 years I have always heard from my mom on my b-day. I know I am PMSing, so it's totally magnified, but still! How do you not call your daughter on her b-day. So when I first realized, I laughed and instantly called my sis (she would call and remind her) but as the phone went to VM, I noticed the time. My mom goes to bed uber early, like 7:30! And I started bawling because I know she is in bed and asleep. So now I won't hear from her.

I know it's silly, I have played down my b-day all week, but this just made me so sad Sorry, just needed to vent and some hugs

I enjoyed my whole day, I won my football pool, it turned out to be a gorgeous day. I am greatful for it all, just still can't beleive it!

just remember, parents are human too. my dad forgot to call on my 22nd bday. i spoke to him like 5 days later and only after i called him to make sure he was still alive cause i couldnt believe he wouldnt have eventually remembered. he didn't realize it until i was on the phone with him.

but guess what? there is a light at the end of the tunnel..once they forget one year they feel so bad they NEVER forget again!!

I think that is the worst part, she will feel really bad when she does, and I'll have to tell her 'no big deal' But yet I am still a bit broken up by it. But I can't do that to her. I will laugh and say 'How silly' tommorow. Just need these damn hormones to regulate! ARGH
