Well, I don't think he'd come if he were the only guy there anyway... ironic when I went through so much to try to plan this trip around the luncheon... It seems like a pretty overwhelming event anyway the more I hear about it. I never went to TWOTY or anything like that and I can't really imagine the experience. So maybe it's for the best.

sorry you are feeling that way...as far as the vendors, it will be a chinese auction type thing I would imagine. At least, thats how it was at the shower so really there wasn't a lot of time spent on it at all! Dont let that get in the wy of you coming or not coming...

aww, i'm so sorry you feel that way! you're not out of the loop!! but very much in the loop! i don't know much about the luncheon in terms of like vendors/prizes etc, but i'm really looking to meet all of you! i don't think you'd be any more feeling awkward than me, i hardly know anyone either! ! :o) i, for one, hope you can reconsider and come! even if you only come for a little while! of course, it's whatever you're comfortable with but i hate to think you feel like a misplaced NYer... you can take the girl out of NY but you can't take the NY out of the girl!!!

I missed what you wrote Sandra, but I too am travelling from a distance (2- 2 1/2 hrs). I hate to leave DH by himself - but he doesnt really have anyone to hang with while I go to the luncheon, plus he has to work later in the evening - so it would be too much for him if I even brought him. I hope you do come though!!!
