So things are busy but better...

So I haven't been on much this week because I started Tuesday at Ritas in East Islip. Yes, I am back at the ice place. But its not bad. The owner, my dad's best friend, has me doing a lot of other work for him from designing certificates to managing the facebook fan page, running promotional ideas, and monitoring all the employee training. So at least I feel useful. And it really is fun working the window and seeing all the smiling people... except for the occasional nasty women, like one today who gave me a real attitude because we charge extra for sprinkles. (I don't make the prices lady.) So its 3 nights a week and between that and video editing I am making some decent money to help us out.

Oh and Jay got a raise!!!! He is in CT all week earning it (he has been up there since Mon and might be there through Sat), but we are so excited. Plus since he already worked 54 hours this week he may get an extra few vacation days and be able to stay with Candy and I in Florida a few days extra.

Suffolk and Eastern Nassau girls... come visit me at Ritas in East Islip Tues-Thurs nights.

I'd like to work something out where I can come down to LI one day in the summer to visit my best friend in Kings Park & then sweep over to Rita's @ night for dessert!

That all sounds like great news! And I'm glad working at the ice cream place isn't so bad either. Just make sure you don't eat it all (because I totally would, it's my weakness in life, haha).

I will probably be there all summer because I certainly won't get a teaching job before summers end. I am working Tues-Thurs nights. I may add Mondays after Puppy K ends.

Yeah after being on salary reduction for a year getting back to normal and now a raise is extremely helpful.

i was just going to drop you a little note on FB! i'm so so happy to hear that things are going well so far!!! we'll have to come by one night, i'll cheat on my diet and visit you!!

Its a PA company so corporate probably calls them that, but I won't give them to you unless you call them sprinkles. :-P

You girls should do a drive by GTG on a Tues-Thurs, but do it towards the end of the evening (like 9ish) and then I will meet you next door at Shandon Court for drinks after clean up.

Honestly the jobs sounds like fun!!! Congrats!!! and I will need extra sprinkles cause I love em!!!!
