So thoughtful at just 6 years old...(a bit long)

So my 6 year old niece came out to spend the day & sleep over last nite...i took her to the outlets......at no time during all the shopping did she ever say 'can i get this...'...we passed a store with Webkinz & she wanted to look at them...we find a really cute Webkinz that was a Cocker Spaniel...so i start petting him & say 'I think we should adopt him!'...so she says, 'Really? Oh but then Chris & Jake will be upset because it's not fair that I get a new Webkinz and they don't...so we shouldn't'....(these are her older & younger brothers)

I turn to her and say 'And because you are always thinking of other people...is exactly why YOU deserve this'...i said 'Life isn't always fair..sometimes one person gets things and others get nothing'...and i bought it for her...and when she got home she did not brag & say 'look what i got!'...but instead wanted to hide it so her brothers wouldn't get upset...her older brother never shares with her...and yet she will always share with him...

I asked her if there was anything special she wanted to do or anywhere she wanted to go...she just said 'I just want to do whatever you do'...where's the melting heart emoticon???

i forgot to add she is growing her hair long for Locks of Love...she's just such a sweetheart...and makes me feel like a rock star when she sees me..hope she still likes me when she's 13! haha

awwwwww! what an angel! That's exactly how my nephew would be too!! If he ever gets something he wants his sister to have something too. Maybe my nephew should hook up with your niece! Actually he has a girlfriend and it may sound crazy but I'm thrilled! He's always been painfully shy...and he's finally coming out of his shell. Such a relief to see this happening!

He's too old for your niece anyway.... he's a big time 5th grader! She is gorgeous by the way!

wish I could have a sleepover by DH is a poop about it. He's very territorial.

Awwwww, that is precious!!! What a sweet young lady she is.

btw: thanks for posting the picture... I was sitting here going 'what the heck is a webkinz??? Lol. My nephews are only 4 and 2 so they aren't in to them yet.
