So what are you greatful for this week?

I'm sick... been sick since last week...

BUT

At the same time, I have been so over emotional by the kindness, sincerity and thoughtfulness of others, that being sick...dosnt mean anything right now to me...

So, this week, and probably until dean bean is born... I am greatful that he is going to be surrounded by amazing, beautiful people. Over generous people, who literally go above and beyond the call of friendship to be there for me...

At first... I was scared I would lose everyone after having the baby but now I see, that he is going to be a part of SO MANY different lives... who are all going to love him and be there for him... and its just overwhelming... majorly..

So...what are you grreatful for???

Well today started off kinda of crappy for me, so im not feeling grateful for much right now...

but I did just find out that one of my friends, that I've known since birth ( our bdays are a week apart and our parents were friends) just got engaged!!!

Im soo thrilled for her!!!! We were best friends for all of our childhood, and kinda lost touch our college years, but then got close again during my wedding!

Her hubby was also our realtor, so im glad he used the commission from selling us the house to good use lol

:::Cough German food this week? Cough::::

I'm grateful for such a WONDERFUL family. Especially my parents. They are sooooo SUPPORTIVE!! For my DH who has been working sooo hard to maintain our family... Since I work remotely from home I'm extremely busy and don;t have time to think about going out and doing things.. This weekend he took me shopping, dinner and a movie... We had a GREAT time!!

I get emotional when I think about how grateful I am for having such an amazing team by my side all the time.. DH, Mother and Father, Sister and TWO Brothers... One of a kind!!

I just found out that DH is off on Friday and my first OB appointment is Friday morning so I'm so so so excited because he can come with me!!!!

So I'm very grateful for that!!!!!!!!

Oh, and if all goes well, then I can make my official announcement... So keep your fingers crossed for me for Friday! Yay!

I think you just made it

I'm grateful that DH and I had a nice long talk this weekend about shifting our household responsibilities...for him to actually have some He's now going to do all the dusting of the furniture and the window sills and venetian blinds in addition to making the bed and taking out the trash. And on occasion pitch in with doing the pots and pans, if I still do the dishes. I still have the brunt of the housework, but it really halved the time with him doing the dusting while I did the vacuuming and the swiffering, so I hope that he doesn't expect a cookie for doing it one weekend and think he's set for 2 months, and actively keeps up with the help every other week when we clean (filthy pigs that we are).

I'm also grateful that DH and I are going to spend more time together by walking on the weekends and after work. We mapped out a great route in our neighborhood that's full of inclines and declines and is at the minimum 3.25 miles, more if we choose, so I'm really happy that we're both going to be able to get some exercise in and spend more time together at the same time.

I'm grateful for my husband. I'm so lucky to have someone like him, who loves me unconditionally even though I am a giant pain in the asss.

My DH for putting up with me all the time. It can't be fun to be married to me right now. But he never seems to object. I'm a lucky woman.
