I had it cleaned and preserved. It took about 3 weeks for them to do it. Now its just sitting in a box in the closet. But I have to admit....im sooooo tempted to open it and put the darn thing on again for a few minutes

Since we are doing a 'Day After Shoot' I'm not doing anythign to it until AFTER that. It's not dirty, so that's good....I mean, the hem is a bit, but not noticeable in our new pics. After that, I am cleaning it and selling it

I had mine sent out to be preserved about a week after I got back from my honeymoon. I just wanted it cleaned! It was so dirty.

Where did you girls take your gowns to be cleaned? I am worried about picking a shabby place and it getting ruined, which happened once to a gown I bought for a wedding I attended as a guest.

I brought mine to the cleaners the Thursday after the wedding. It is now in a box that has a clear window so i can look at it. I wish I didn't have it cleaned so soon after so I could try it on a few more times. i am trying to decide if i should sell it.

Its sitting in a garbage bag in my bedroom
I don't know what to do with it. I don't want to spend the $ to get it preserved b/c nobody will ever wear it again.
I don't know anyone who has ever worn their mother's wedding gown.

Go to wedclean.com, I am waiting for my postage paid box to come today, they send it to you for free. Just pack in your dress & anything else you need cleaned, affix the postage label & bring it to a UPS store. Many girls raved about there cleaning/preservation services. I kept researching it and decided it is the way to go.
It costs 129.00 +++they clean almost anything from your shoes to your veil, each one is an additonal amount of money.....I think you get it back within two weeks...
Cant wait!!!. cant wait to see it all clean again....

That's what I was planning on doing too. Once it's cleaned I'll see if I can sell it on ebay.

I haven't gotten mine cleaned yet....I'm planning to sell it so I have to soon. It's just hanging up in our gym in the same garment bag it came in. I'm afraid to try it on again cause it's soooo NOT gonna' fit me anymore Obviously, I don't go in the gym too often

I just brought mine in to be preserved about a month ago- it sat in my closet for over a year. Now I can't wait to get it back although I don't know why since I'm not going to wear it again.

In the garment bag on my living room floor. Me and my two friends are going to wear our gowns to watch tv sometime soon! We weren't paying all that money to not wear it again! LOL
