So whats the deal with the snow?

Are we getting any?I swear, these weathermen and women never know what they are talking about! I wish I had a job where I could have no idea what was going on and be wrong 90% of the time

I hear something different on every single news channel! I love how people get all freaked out about snow and run to the supermarket to stock up on water and bread. We are taking 6 inches max! I always just stock up on wine when it snows. That's my essential!

They keep saying how it’s an “unpredictable” storm to cover their a$$es… most reports I’ve seen have said we’ll get 3-6 inches, but if it moves a little more north we could get up to a foot.

Its funny how people do that. Like were never getting out of our houses again. In NY that is not necessary.

But in DC it is, I learned that the hard way when I lived there. One storm we were literally snowed in for a week. I mean it was an actual blizzard but NYC was up and running the next day and EVERYTHING in the city of DC was closed. People were skiing down CT Ave. They can't handle snow there. It took a week just to get major roads plowed, it was a month before we could use all the side streets again.

OH man i work at a supermarket part time and i HATE when it snows for that reason! people are crazy! do you people not have ANYTHING in their house that even if they were trapped in their house for 1 day they wouldnt be able to survice! and thats even if you got trapped in your house! which NEVER happends! you still have feet, and the roads are clear by the next day! ugh!!!

Gail I hope it doesn't snow too badly. I know Tommy and John are probably working, so I told Gina and Kerri that as long as it's driveable I'll come out and get them in Queen for the gtg. COME ON LADIES!! As long as it's not bad snow I think we should try to keep our gtg going!! I will tell you though that Mike isn't coming anymore. Sowwy! His BF Tommy is working, and he 'was only going to see Tommy'!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last I saw it is supposed to be up to an inch and 1/2 of snow on Long Island..I think it is supposed to be completely over by 1pm Saturday.

i know you girls are having your g2g but im having my sisters baby shower...
im going crazy following these reports idk what to do if i should cancel or not.

Accuweather.com...Apparently it will be 3 inches by me.. I hope that's right!

OK so weather.com has a winter storm watch and they are saying 4-8 inches for Western Suffolk starting at 6pm thru Sat afternoon.

I don't know what to think, but I know there are severe weather watches for Philli and DH is there now.

Damn! That is a huge diff from 1.5 inches! What is wrong with these weather people???

and then news 12 says 2-4' for the north shore & 3-6' for the south shore!

Fair enough...I heard that it was going to end by morning, so hopefully by then we'll have a better idea.
