So......DH officially survived his first PMS encounter as my husband!

I've been just a LITTLE cranky the past few days and poor DH had to deal with my crazy mood swings and crankyness for the first time with me officially being his wife.........he's probably thinking 'good lord I married the exorcist!!!' well I was a crying mess this morning (the final stage of when I have extreme PMS!)......so I think I got all the crankies out, I just needed a little release! I just hated how much we've fought in the last day or two......I guess now that we're married you want to be all cheery & happy, but hey this is reality, I get PMS, you get your head ripped off ! just kidding!! (I think!)

how did you guys feel when you had your first big fight after being married?

awww!!! I understand the PMS monster! I have it too!

I don't think we've really had a fight yet (we really don't have big fights- more like arguments that blow over)...but poor DH did have to deal with a little post-wedding back-to-school depression. I felt so bad when he had to sit there and watch me cry. I'd call him just to tell him I loved him and I would start crying.

yea it wasn't really like a fight fight, but it was more like him being nasty to me almost in response to me being cranky, and vice versa......kind of creating a vicious cycle.

In the last 2-3 months before the wedding I was so busy that DH didn't even have to see me when I was seriously PMS'ing.....I just hate that feeling of tension when either of us is cranky.

thanks for the hug Tara!! and I'm sorry that you cried too with the post wedding/back to school emotions......it's rough to deal w/ all the mixed feelings that a wedding brings!!

Don'tcha just LOVE being a newlywed though Helen? You're such a new newlywed!!! You must still be on that I just got married high! We're 2 months old now.

So...where's that review of yours already? Can't wait to see it all together in one spot!!!

come on girlie......you know I'm waiting for my proofs!! I just can't do it without my pics!! I think it'll take me a month anyway, I haven't even started it, it's all in my head!! I think after Mimi's wedding I can seriously devote some time to it.

I love being a newlywed, but it still sounds obscene for me to be using the word HUSBAND I feel like people look at me like a 'child bride' or something b/c I look so young....and DH.....he gets it even worse, he's 32 but he looks 18!!!

It's crazy how totally normal it feels to call him husband - I have no idea why it was never weird to me. And I got used to being called Mrs. H so fast! But that helps because I have about 400 kids calling me that every week!

ya know what's funny is the only person who's repeatedly calling me Mrs. Johnson now is my mom! she just loves to tease me! but I guess b/c she's the last Zigrest standing since she has 2 daughters that are now both married, it must be weird for her too.

Some people call me ziggy and some people at work just call me Z (like Zee).......so I hope that doesn't stop.....they said J just doesn't sound as fun as Z lol!! I feel like I never want to leave my job since I'm not changing my name at work! that's how I can hang on to my maiden name!!

oooh Ziggy is FUN! I'd never wanna lose that nickname!

I hate that my work email is still in my maiden name- I want that damn thing struck from my record. And I can't get around to bugging the school secretary to change my last name on the school website.
