I think I know what you mean. Sometimes I look at the Brides helping Brides posts and laugh when I remember how obsessed I was with centerpieces, and favors, and blah, blah, blah... As fun as the planning was, now I look back and I'm relieved to be done so I can focus on real life. If I were to get married all over again, I'd hire a wedding planner - it would definitely be worth the money!

I seriously agree.....I have friends and all they ever talk about is the ring, ring ring....cant wait to get 'THE RING' OKAYYYYY ....then its the....Cant wait to get that 5000k dress....dress....dress...I dont remember being LIKE THIS...lol I focused more on the relationship aspect...I was just happy to marry my dh!!! I still cant believe it happened!!! .
Yes hindsight is 20/20 but even in the midst of planning I never acted the way some people are. I just think that some people are losing focus...this is 1 day. They are creating drama and hurt feelings over this, AND afte rthe wedding then what. Are people supposed to just say 'oh well she was in wedding phase.' It's not an act like a jerk free for all card. sorry it's a combo of BHB and 08........I swear they are getting worse and worse
I totally agree, hindsight is 20/20 but during my planning there were things that upset me but they were valid...not silly things. I think that some brides get so caught up in the 'making it perfect' part and impressing people that they forget what its all about

yea. i remember being concerned with some things that were just silly now in retrospect. but when youre wrapped up in it, it can be a different story.
I'm all for being excited for the 5 weddings I've got coming up. I've always liked party planning though.

I think we should all remember that we were there not so long ago....
& even some 07ers had some ridiculous questions & concerns.
It happens....I wouldn't get annoyed about it.
