Some people are unbelievable!

I'm soo angry right now. DH's cousin is getting married in Feb. Him and his Fiance came to our wedding (first time meeting her) and we find out from the Matre'd during our wedding that they wanted to kick her out for fighting w/ one of the waiters! They ended up speaking to her and letting her stay.
Now...not to sound greedy but they gave us $100 as a wedding present and the bank just notified us that the check bounced lol. I just don't get some people!!!

so now....question is....we are going to their wedding in FL in Feb.. Would you give them a gift??????? I do not want to!

i would conveniently leave the envelope at home and retry depositing the check

you can go to their bank - if there is a local branch location - and verify the funds in the account. if the funds are there, you can cash it on the spot

did they send you a copy of it? we had a check bounce from the wedding and they sent us a 'copy' of it but on the copy it says that it can be used as a real check

no prob - u have to go to THEIR bank though - which can be annoying esp if it's not a big name bank like chase or bank of america or somethng. it can be any branch of their bank thoguh - doesnt have to be THEIR branch.

I would let your DH handle it and speak to his cousin.

i would have your DH speak to his cousin and let him know that the check bounced.

And no, I would not give a gift, but if you manage to get that check cashed before their wedding, i would give them back $100
