Some Prayers and Thoughts Needed - Updated

So many of you know about DH's dad and his brain issues (caused by lung cancer). If not, its a long story but its called limbic encephalitis. Well he has been having seizures lately, a lot of seizures. So he is down in Philli at the U. of PA getting tests to see if they can figure out why. We are praying they don't have to put him back on the anti-seizure meds he was on when he first got over the cancer and started with the brain problems, two years ago, because it made him nasty and a little frightening violent. So please pray that they find an answer and a way to help him that doesn't involve the meds.

Update - Just talked to DH and they hooked him up today to watch for seizures. He had over 50 seizures in one day. Thats really really scary. Not sure where they are going from here. They are meeting with the doctors tomorrow. In the meantime doing a no snow dance since DH is supposed to pick up his parents on Friday and at 1pm its supposed to start snowing in Philli.

I will def keep you guys in my prayers! My stepdad had brain cancer and I totally know what you mean about the anti-seizure meds making a person completely different! If you ever need to talk, feel free to fm me!

I hope you Dad is OK. Maybe they can try a different seizure medication if he really needs to go back on one.

Thanks girls... hey girls going on Sat, do me a favor and don't mention this to DH, I am not sure he would be happy I am sharing his family drama, even though I am really just trying to get some prayers for them.
