Someone do this with me and Barbiegrl! (Update)

Pure Power Boot Camp Groupon

I think this is just the kind of butt kicking I really need! It's $69 for six sessions - they have to be used within two week though but I still want to do it. The website is sick here

There's a Jericho location. Someone do this with me! We can motivate each other while we get our butts kicked!

Barbiegrl and I have officially signed up! We're going to do the 7pm class when we go so if you can make it, join with us! It's going to be ridiculously hard but why not try. At least we'll have each other!

It's a hike for me but I figure it's only a two week program so I can do it a few times.

Ang I would totally do that! Jericho is pretty close to me... LOL! That class looks scary! Hmmm... I see its by appointment only... so does that mean we can pick the time?

I emailed them because I had a ton of questions - there's a uniform and they do these things in six week increments so I wanted to know the answers before buying. I guess when you register you pick the time you go.

OMG that website scared me. The drill sargeants would probably make me cry and the obstacle course would result in me having broken limbs LOL...seems a little rough for me, but it's def something I would want to try in my lifetime...

Okay here's the info I got from the Groupon website - you need to buy a tshirt which is an additional $12 and you do NOT need to do the six week program. Also, it says 'by appointment' but that just means when you register you have to say which classes you're going to.

So, any for sure takers?

Sorry for being dense, but I've never used Groupon before. Do we need to do the class together, or do we just need to purchase the certificate together? I'd love to do the class with everyone, but I'm having surgery on 1/18 and am not sure when I'd be cleared to do such a strenuous workout and I wouldn't want to hold the rest of you back.

sounds awesome but I live in Northport and work in Commack so it would be a HIKE for me, but kick butt if you do go! I gained so much post-wedding weight ahh!

You buy them separately and then I guess we'd all go to register together.

Thanks for the info! I'll buy one later, but like I said, I don't want to hold you back as far as scheduling. I think I might be able to convince DH to do the class with me.

If you and Barbie are able to go before I'm cleared by the DR, let me know how it goes!
