Someone just said the most RUDE thing to me about my wedding pictures.

I was showing them to a client who asked to see, and she says 'you are so pale, didn't you think to tan before, you look sick'.

Someone I work with was standing there and said 'are you serious????', and she responded, 'she looks beautiful, just pale!'.

I took the pictures back and told her thanks for her input.

WHAT THE?!??!!!!??!!! I WANT TO PUNCH HER!!!

I would have said, and who asked you, I know a lot of people might have had something to say about how we did things or how I looked but they know better. I guess since its a client you had to hold your tongue, if it was someone else I am sure you would have let her have it. That is not very nice. If you do not have anything nice to say, don't say anything. I wonder how come she did not notice the joy exuding from you and your hubby. Negative people will always look for something negative in everything no matter what. Don't let her damper your spirits or your mood. She is insignificant.

That's exactly why I had to hold my tounge....and she probably knew it too. In any other situation I think I would have shown her what black and blue looks like on leathery tanned skin.

I'm perfectly calm....I know people like that have their own issues to deal with. And I know I couldn't have been pale because my face was a glow with joy the whole night.

OMG HOW NASTY !!!!

I say you catch her offguard one day, and say something like 'Didnt you think to put makeup on this morning, major bags under the eyes! or is that how you always look?'

How rude !!!!!!!!

How RUDE! That's horrible!! I'm a very fair skinned brunnette, so I get the 'Oh! You're so pale!' comment all the time. I also stopped tanning about eight years ago, so that doesn't help. But you know what? 90% of wrinkles are caused by sun damage. So those of us who prefer to stay fair are going to look AWESOME when we get older, while the rest of the Malibu Barbie Idiots are going to look like old shoe leather!!!!

I'm PROUD of my very fair skin/dark hair combo. It's striking and different. To heck with anyone who disagrees! At least you won't end up with skin cancer!

Jealous, jealous, jealous!!!

Sorry you had to hear such a negative comment from someone who is obviously clueless.
