Someone Tell Me I'm Being a Worrywort....pls....

DH is flying home this evening from a business trip. It's not even on a Boeing, it's on a small jet and we have this storm moving in. Already he's been delayed an hour and a half...they just started boarding and i'm so worried. I am so nervous on plane's....someone pls tell me i'm being neurotic and he'll be fine.

you're being a worry wart and he'll be fine! They wouldn't take off if they felt there was danger. I totally understand how you feel though -- I'd probably feel the same But he will be fine

Where is he flying from?? DH told me the storm isn't supposed to come until After midnight.. Your DH will be OK!!!

He's flying in from Milwaukee and I just saw the weather report said the storm is supposed to hit the tri-state area at about 7:30 pm.

this exact situation happened to me when my DH was flying home from his business trip that weekend when that tropical storm hit new york - i was FREAKING OUT b/c it was really bad weather here & he was denver & they didnt even delay the plane!! they just let them board!! i could not believe it - i thought for sure they would at least delay it!!

but it all ended up fine - he arrived home safe & sound! i feel that no matter how big or small the plane is, pilots know what they are doing & if they thought it would be dangerous, they would have continued to delay the flight!

Thank you so much I'm watching it on flightview and it's up in the air at 17,000 feet estimated arrival of 8:02. UGH I just want him home already! Thanks for the reality check, I know the pilots are all experienced...I'm just a nervous flier as it is.

Dont worry, they will NOT fly if there is a danger-no matter what kind of plane he is on!!!! Try and have a glass of wine and try not to worry

He'll be fine...keep watching flightview and watch some TV and he'll be home soon

Thank you so much ..... I'm such a worrier. I actually have to go pick him up at the airport and i'm worrying about making it there to get him keep your fingers crossed that there are easy signs telling me where to go!!
