Something Only Girls Understand

Girls, I have great news. I was an idiot and didn't make an appt. to get my hair highlighted and cut from my stylist before the wedding so I call everyday to my salon trying to get in (As you know, I'm in Jersey so I can't just hightail it over).

I was getting so discouraged, I actually thought about going to someone else.. GASP

My dreams have answered because my stylist called and can fit me in next Saturday!!!! Yay!!! The day I wanted and it's perfect because I can make a day of it on Long Island!!!!!! WOOOO HOOOOO Thank YOU SALLY! She is the top stylist at my salon and seriously, it's so difficult to get an appt with her!

(Only girls can understand this, DH thinks I'm a nutcase!)

ps. i look like a skunk right now, so i need it!

DH thinks I'm crazy for going from Westchester to LI back to my stylist to get a trim. I have to tell him that I'm not the only one who does it

PS - are you getting a trim or doing the chop?

Ha! See....you tell him! And I'll tell my man.

I am loving my LONG hair...I have no desire to cut it all off! I've been short hair for a while. But I do want some style. I'm thinking of doing long bangs...we shall see what she comes up with. I just let her do what she wants!!!

Yay leese! I can totally relate to you!!! I have an appointment on Tuesday to get my trimmed (love my long hair too) & colored!!! I feel so blah & need a change now that the wedding is over!!! Then DH will think he is having an affair

i used to drive from CT to LI to get my hair cut...
now with gas prices and the utter annoyance of driving all that way, i have a new stylist here - shes more expensive but worth it so I am glad I dont have to plan weekends around my hair.

I understand

I drive to where ever I have to for my hair

and I want to take a trip to LA to get my Hair cut at Johnthan Anton's salon

I can totally understand - I was making the trip to LI for everything. I did end up finding a new hair stylist and am working on a dr. But when you get used to people and like them - you don't want to change, even when it's a long drive:)

Have fun on Saturday! I'm thinking of doing the chop myself, or highlights, or both!
