something stupid happened at my wedding...
..and I didn't really know about it until I saw it on a video last night that DH's cousin took. A friend (or, former friend now) started a fight with another guest that she did not know. The other guest I have been friends with for avoer 20 years. She threatened & pushed her, and then tried to rally up all my other friends to fight (yes, physically fight) her. When I asked my friends why they didn't tell me, they said they didn't want to ruin my day.... I appreciate that, but I think they hould have told me afterward. Now I feel like I am at fault by deciding to take care of it months later. What do you guys think?????
Can you even believe this? I am so shocked at the level of disrespect..... i t was my wedding, not happy hour at the local roach hole

Re: something stupid happened at my wedding...
OMG that's crazy! I can't believe that girl tried to start a fight!I'm sure your friends were not telling you because they didn't want to have your day ruined (or the memories of your day). The girl that was threatened didn't tell you either, so I'm sure that she didn't feel *that* threatened (ie: knew that it would blow over) and didn't tell you either.
Don't feel like a bad person for not addressing it sooner. You still can - just tell the girl who was threatened that no one told you until you saw your cousins' video.
Did he tape the fight or was it just in the background of other things he taped?

Re: something stupid happened at my wedding...
He taped the whole thing. He is in school to be a filmmaker, so he followed the whole event. It is actually pretty funny to watch. He even followed them into the girl's bathroom.I will actually be at a party with her this weekend at a mutual friends house, so I want to take care of it before then. Maybe I will just call her.....
UGH....only me

thats disgusting behavior!!! Im sorry that happened...Id tell her straight out that this upsets you, it doesnt matter WHAT happened, the fact that she was willing to actually fight at YOUR wedding is repulsive and I wouldnt ignore it!!! Id knock her out myself for trying to fight at my wedding!!
