Sometimes DH is lucky

Yesterday I spent the day cleaning, doing about 5+ loads of laundry, writing out our bills, food shopping, etc and when DH came home to a nice clean apartment, dinner was on the table.

I made bow tie pasta with oil and pan roasted garlic, chicken, asparagus, melted brie, pine nuts and topped with grated cheese!! YUMMMMMMMMM!!! I would have taken a picture if DH and I didn't almost eat an entire pound of pasta last night.

After reading this back to myself, I just realized....I want a wife!!!

Re: Sometimes DH is lucky

Recipe:

Start to boil your pasta of choice. I did bowties. Doesn't matter which one. Once it is done, strain and put to the side.

In a deep skillet, put about 3-5 tablespoons of olive oil, salt, peppar and garlic powder and brown your chicken. I cut them into small pieces. Once they are browned on all sides, remove them to a paper towel and put in slices of garlic and your asparagus and cover for about 5-10. After the asparagus is steamed and aoftened, than put the chicken back into the skillet with the asparagus to warm it up. In the pasta bowl, add brie cheese (I cubed them) and some pine nuts. Take all the sizzling remaining ingrediants and add to the pasta bowl. This will melt all the brie as you stir it in. Only took about 30-40 minutes and it was AWESOME!!!!
