Songs for Working out

I just joined a gym and I need a new playlist of songs to play while working out.

Any suggestions? The more the better because than I will be able to work out longer and I definitely need to be there as long as possible.

TIA!

i actually prefer to listen to a whole album when i work out..i'll just skip over the slower songs if i need to, but i definetly feel like it passes the time quicker then random songs for some reason..LOVE christina aguilera the album with Fighter on it

Believe it or not Scissor Sisters is a great band to listen to. I love it b/c all their songs are fast tempo, and are no less than 5 minutes long each.

I listen to their album called 'Ta Da'

Hmmm...I've got a real mixed bag on my workout playlist. Here are a few:

Valerie-Amy Winehouse/Mark Ronson
American Boy-Kayne and Estelle
Celebrity Skin-Hole
Break the Ice-Britney Spears
4 Minutes-Madonna and Justin Timberlake
First Time-Lifehouse
Tell Me--Christina Aguilera and Diddy

Re: Songs for Working out

I have two mixes that I love to listen to while running:

Bleeding Love (slow but love it)
Calabria
I kissed a girl (Katy Pery)
Distburbia (Rihanna)
Shut up and drive (Rihanna)
Love is Gone
When I grow up (Pussycat)
American Boy (Kanye)
Justin and Madonna Song
There is more but cannot remember it now!

Then I also have a fast gym mix that is alittle hard-core-ish - I need this fast ones when I am running more than 5 miles - they keep me going....

Freak on a Leash, Korn
Pain
Biitch, Buckcherry
Beautiful people, Marilyn Manson
Voodoo
Linkin Park songs
Alien Ant Farm
Black Betty
whole bunch more, cant remember them now

Sometimes I find it helpful to go on radio websits and look up their playlists - then I can get more ideas for songs!

anthrax always does it for me. metallica too.

oh, and the go-go's for sure. 'we got the beat' has the perfect rhythm for a 4.0 mph jog
