SonicStef...NEED HELP!!!! Re: wedding website

Ok, I know we didn't do this right, but FH purchased a domain name and hosting for a year and now we are stuck and he can't figure out how to program it....
Any suggestions?

Would it still help to use what you used or is it too late?

Im not sure if you can use homestead if you have your own domain name or not...but even if you could, its not really necessary.

Where did he buy the domain name from? Often time the service provider will give you a web page design program.

If not, You need to get yourself a webdesign program like MS Front Page (there are others but I believe that is the most basic). Then you can design the page in that program and upload it (FTP) to the site.

FH just wouldn't listen to me about homestead....
Is MS frontpage difficult, do you think?

Who did you buy the domain from? Does it come with space on a server?

There are some free options if you are willing to learn coding, which isn't very hard for basic pages!

I dont use MSFront Page but from what I hear, it could not be easier. But you do have to play around with it a bit to get it to do what you wanted.

Thanks guys....
FH purchased the domain name so I am not sure where from, but I will find out....

I am going to look up MS Frontpage and see if I can figure something out....

The website was supposed to be up 3 weeks ago!!!!!
FH just works sooooo many hours that he 'never has time'

Looks like this girl is going to have to do it herself

FYI You can layout a page in Word, save it as a web page and then upload it to your site. Just a suggestion in case you can't get your hands on Front Page.
